I have supported Mills since my graduation in ’65. I am deeply concerned in the future of the College with the merger but also in documenting and preserving its legacy. As an educator all my life, I believe that education gives power to people and applaud Mills’ legacy of educating first generation students and students from underrepresented groups. Being a member of the nominating committee will enable me to influence the shape of the future Board of Governors to foster these goals. Being a current member of the BOG will enable me to support candidates who will strengthen the Board.

I wish to continue to serve in a smaller role and help build a collaborative, productive, and balanced BOG.
