Our End of Year Celebration will be High on the Hog’s Garlic-, Rosemary-, and Lavender- Scented Leg of Lamb with spicy Mint Sauce. You bring the sides as we share our cultures and amazing histories.

Succotash is a Summertime Harvest favorite and was a staple in the lives of slaves. Guest Chef Myila Granberry will share her family’s version of the dish as we talk about how food changes with access, geography, and economics.

This Book Club selection is an excellent read and should prompt lively discussion exploring the influence of McKinsey, the world’s most powerful consulting firm, on all our lives.

This month The Lynda Campfield Book Club will read and discuss Betrayal on the Bayou by Sheryl Bize-Boutte. Sheryl Bize-Boutte is a Mills Alumna and award-winning writer and poet. Betrayal on the Bayou is her latest work.

We are pleased to announce that the author, Ms. Bize-Boutte, will join us for an author’s talk.

Little House on the Prairie the Remix. It’s harvest time in California. With the abundance of fruits and berries, we will be cooking up pies and jam.
