The Lynda Campfield Book Club Meeting
This month The Lynda Campfield Book Club will read and discuss Betrayal on the Bayou by Sheryl Bize-Boutte. Sheryl Bize-Boutte is a Mills Alumna and award-winning writer and poet. Betrayal on the Bayou is her latest work.
We are pleased to announce that the author, Ms. Bize-Boutte, will join us for an author’s talk.

Reunion 2023
Mills College at Northeastern University invites all alumnae to campus for four days of celebration with classmates at special luncheons, dinners, and other activities October 5–8, 2023. This year’s Reunion honors, in particular, the Golden Alumnae of 1973, who will celebrate their 50th Reunion, and alumnae from class years ending in 3 or 8.

Little House on the Prairie the Remix! Cooking with the Life Long Learning Committee

Bonjour Paris! Join the Life Long Learning Committee (LLLC) as we visit France and make quiche and madeleines and drink water aves gas! We will chop, talk, and sip our hot creations as we make flaky pastry dough, béchamel, and buttery cookies.

LiberTEA
Don’t miss a presentation by alumna and Board member Catherine Ladnier ‘70 at May’s CommuniTEA—with the theme of LiberTEA. Catherine will share the stories of Japanese American Mills College students who corresponded from internment camps with Mills College president Aurelia Henry Reinhardt during WWII.

Commencement
Join us to celebrate Commencement for the last of the students who started at Mills College. Breakfast will be at Reinhardt Alumnae House before robing for the processional. More details as they become available.

Join us each month for CommuniTEA, hosted by the Hospitality Committee. This month will spotlight alumna and Oakland native Chantrelle Edwards ‘20, owner of Hella Tea. Chantrelle will share her love of tea, her passion for Oakland, and a deep appreciation of Hip-Hop culture.

Oral History Presentation + Tea
This month’s CommuniTEA, hosted by the Hospitality Committee, will be taking on the theme of ImmortaliTEA with a special itinerary honoring the history of Mills.
